The DDC Shipping Clerk Trainer will be responsible for providing training, leadership, and continuous improvement to operators pertaining to Shipping Clerks, all while ensuring quality and safety.   

Essential:

Requires and promotes safety first for all employeesExcellent communication skills, both written and verbalGood organization and people skillsSolid computer skills, including knowledge of MS Word and MS ExcelAble to train employees and ensure work instructions are metMust be able to identify different learning styles and successfully deliver training using different methodsWork in conjunction with supervision and the Training Auditor Coordinator to ensure training requirements are met and maintained: Regular audit and evaluate trainee’s workAssist in developing and modifying training plans to ensure trainee’s successEvaluate training materials and assist in updating as necessaryAssist in developing and delivering exams if applicableMaintain accurate, complete, and timely training recordsEnsure that employees have necessary tools/resources to complete required tasksPromotes a harassment free environment for all employees, contractors, and staffAble to work with limited direct supervisionWorks well under pressureCorrects deficiencies and notifies appropriate parties when a process is variantPromotes process control within department and takes action to determine corrective action when neededEnsure that quality requirements are being followed by allNotifies supervision of performance issuesAbility to evolve and learn new skills

Minimum Requirements:
