The Shipping Clerk has to have the ability to function well as part of a team. He or she must have very effective organizational and communication skills to service our clientele efficiently. The primary responsibility of the shipping clerk is to help meet the needs of customers by shipping pharmaceuticals in a timely, safe and courteous manner.
Responsibilities Follow all Pharmacy standard operating proceduresSafely ship medication to customer locations in a timely, safe and courteous mannerEnsure products are processed for shipping and are delegated to the proper courierAdhere to all safety requirements Use of manual pallet jack as neededReceive, maintain and order suppliesPerform any other duties as assigned by the Shipping Manager, DOP or Pharmacy Manager Qualifications High school diploma or equivalentValid Driver's license Must be able to pass Drug Screen and DMV CheckBasic Computer SkillsCommunicating both verbally (on phone, one-on-one, to groups)Shipping experience preferred but not required About our Line of Business PharMerica, an affiliate of BrightSpring Health Services, delivers personalized pharmacy care through dedicated local teams, serving health care providers such as skilled nursing facilities, senior living communities, and hospitals.
