We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Shipping Clerk to join our team for the second shift. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the shipment of goods, ensuring accuracy in documentation, and maintaining efficient workflow in the shipping department.
ResponsibilitiesPrepare and process shipping documents including bills of lading and shipping labels.Verify and record outgoing shipments to ensure accuracy and completeness.Coordinate with carriers and schedule pickups.Maintain organized records of shipments and inventory.Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.Perform quality checks on outgoing shipments.Communicate effectively with other departments to resolve shipping issues.Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.Essential SkillsExperience in inventory, shipping and receiving, and material handling.Proficiency in using RF scanners and inventory control systems.Strong data entry skills and familiarity with shipping software.Additional Skills & QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent.Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations preferred.Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.Basic computer skills and familiarity with shipping software.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Willingness to work second shift hours.Work EnvironmentThe position operates within an office located in a manufacturing environment. The work hours are from 4:15 PM to 1:00 AM, Monday through Friday, and the role requires 100% onsite presence. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.25/hr.
