Volt is immediately hiring for a Shipping Clerk in Chatsworth, CA.

 

As a Shipping Clerk you will:

Accurately pick, pack, and prepare products for shipment according to customer orders Verify the accuracy of outgoing shipments by checking items, quantities, and documentation Ensure that all shipments comply with domestic and international shipping regulations, including customs documentation Follow safety protocols and standard operating procedures (SOPs) during all shipping activities Ensure proper packaging to prevent damage during transit Maintain accurate records of all outgoing shipments, including tracking numbers and carrier details Prepare and file all shipping-related documents in compliance with company policies and regulations Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment as needed Forklift certification is a plus but not necessary

This is a full-time, temp-to-hire opportunity. Monday - Friday, 7am-3:30pm with overtime
 

The ideal candidate will have: 

Prior experience in a shipping 2yrs min Strong attention to detail and accuracy Proficiency in using shipping software, inventory management systems, and MS Office Excellent organizational and time-management skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to lift and move packages weighing up to 40 pounds Ability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods

Pay Rate: $18/hr

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
