Job Title: Shipping Clerk - Second Shift
Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Shipping Clerk to join our team for the second shift. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the shipment of goods, ensuring accuracy in documentation, and maintaining an efficient workflow in the shipping department.
Responsibilities
Prepare and process shipping documents including bills of lading and shipping labels.Verify and record outgoing shipments to ensure accuracy and completeness.Coordinate with carriers and schedule pickups.Maintain organized records of shipments and inventory.Perform quality checks on outgoing shipments.Communicate effectively with other departments to resolve shipping issues.Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.Essential Skills
Proficiency in inventory management and shipping & receiving processes.Experience in material handling and use of RF scanners.Strong inventory control and data entry skills.Familiarity with shipping software.Additional Skills & Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations preferred.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Basic computer skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Willingness to work second shift hours.Work Environment
The position is based in an office within a manufacturing environment. The work schedule is aligned with second shift hours (4:15PM - 1AM, and a supportive team environment is provided. Employees can expect competitive wages, opportunities for advancement, and great benefits.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Georgetown, Kentucky.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.25/hr.
