Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Shipping Clerk responsible for preparing products for shipping using UPS and FedEx. The role involves updating inventory on our computer system and coordinating with trucks and shipping brokers for pick-ups.

ResponsibilitiesPrepare products for shipping using UPS and FedEx.Update inventory on computer systems as parts are pulled.Communicate with trucks and shipping brokers for pick-ups.Handle and manage orders efficiently in a warehouse environment.Operate sit and stand-up forklifts as needed.Essential Skills2+ years of experience in UPS, shipping, and warehouse environments.1+ year of experience operating sit and stand-up forklifts.Proficiency in order picking, material handling, and inventory management.Experience with shipping brokers and excellent communication skills.Computer aptitude.Additional Skills & QualificationsExcellent attendance record.Good attitude and effort.Trainable and willing to learn.Why Work Here?

Upon completion of a 4-month contract, there is an opportunity for direct hire with competitive benefits and paid time off. Employees receive a raise once permanent. Work Environment

The work environment is fairly laid back within a small shipping area in the shop. The pace can vary, with occasional slower times and urgent order processing requirements. The position operates Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. The dress code requires a t-shirt, long pants, and steel-toe boots.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of BLAINE, Minnesota.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
