Volt is immediately hiring for Shipping Clerks in the Santa Ana, CA.

As a Shipping Clerk you will:

Pull sales orders and pack for shipments. Process sales orders on NetSuite. Verifies and records all items loaded for shipments. Carefully and accurately maintains shipping records for requested categories. Maintains database of shipment data to ensure that customer orders are updated and that appropriate billing documents are provided to accounting or other associated departments as required. Notifies supervisor of major discrepancies, over-shipments, or substitutions. Prepares bills of lading and other documents for international shipments. Completes information on damage claims for in-transit damage. Transports materials on shipping dock with a hand truck or other vehicle as needed. Performs other duties.

This is a full-time opportunity. 

1st shift: 8am to 5pm

Days: Monday-Friday 

The ideal candidate will have:

Familiar with Microsoft Office and Outlook Inventory software to maintain records, input data, and create reports Prolonged periods of walking and standing pulling orders and packing them. Must be able to lift 65 pounds Must be comfortable working in a warehouse environment, material movement equipment like pallet jack and forklift is also used daily Familiar with operating standard office equipment such as computers, phones, printers, and photocopiers.

Pay Rate: $23-$25 per hour

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
