A shipping operator will manage the shipping and receiving of materials, products, and supplies. They may also be involved in planning shipments, preparing shipping documents, and ensuring the safe delivery of packages.

Responsibilities:
Shipping operator responsibilities:
Preparing bills of lading, customs forms ... Packing and labeling items
Assembling containers and crates
Loading and Unloading trucks and deliveries
Sorting and stocking incoming items
Verifying all items on sales orders are complete and packed accordingly
Inspecting shipments for damage
Identifying and resolving issues that arise during shipping operations

Working hours: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM (additional hours as needed)

Skills:
Ability to revolve issues and be able to make sound judgement calls

Education:
No Degree Required

Experience:
1-4 years

Qualifications:
Shipping operator skills:
Attention to detail
Good organizational skills
Ability to work independently and in a team
Good communication skills
Basic computer skills
Ability to drive a forklift, lift and stand for extended periods.
