Job Title: Shipping & Receiving – Urgently Hiring!
Pay: $17 per hour
Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM 
Start Date: ASAP – Temporary 

We are seeking a Shipping & Receiving Associate for a temporary position with our client, a production facility located in Winslow, Maine. The Shipping & Receiving Associate will be responsible for picking and packing orders, fulfilling customer requests, and preparing outgoing products on pallets. Success in this role means staying accurate with lot numbers, maintaining reliable counts, and ensuring all products are packed and shipped efficiently. This is an excellent foot-in-the-door opportunity that could lead to future roles with the company.
As a Shipping & Receiving Associate, you will:
Pick and pack orders with accuracy and attention to detail

Fulfill customer orders on time

Prepare outgoing products on pallets for shipment

Count, record, and track lot numbers consistently

Maintain a clean and safe work area

Follow company policies, safety rules, and food safety guidelines
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
A high school diploma or equivalent (preferred)

Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or order fulfillment (preferred, but not required)

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Dependability and the ability to follow instructions

Physical ability to stand for the duration of the shift and lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs. (most boxes range from 2–5 lbs.)

Willingness to work occasional extended hours if needed
