Job Title: Shipping and Receiving Supervisor

1st Shift: Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated 1st shift Shipping and Receiving Supervisor with a strong focus on the shipping aspect of our operations. This role requires a minimum of 3+ years of supervisory experience in shipping and receiving, combining both hands-on tasks and supervisory responsibilities. The successful candidate will work closely with the Inventory Manager to ensure materials are correctly packaged for shipping or stored appropriately.

Responsibilities

Inspect loading operations to ensure compliance with shipping specifications.Direct movement of materials from the shipping area to the staging area.Review shipping notices, bills of lading, invoices, orders, and other records to determine shipping priorities, work assignments, and shipping methods required to meet deadlines.Develop work procedures, prepare work schedules, and expedite workflow.Arrange transportation according to customer instructions and standards.Ensure the shipping area is organized, clean, and meets all compliance requirements.Conduct training, development, and performance-monitoring activities for each employee in the department.

Essential Skills

3+ years of supervisory experience in a shipping and receiving role.Proficient in Microsoft Office.Experience with ERP systems.Strong understanding of warehouse management and safety protocols.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

High School Diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred.Forklift license or certification.Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $80000.00/yr.
