Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Shipping and Receiving Specialist to manage incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all related processes.
ResponsibilitiesReceive incoming shipments and verify contents against purchase orders or invoices.Inspect goods for damage and report any discrepancies.Prepare and package outgoing shipments in accordance with company and carrier standards.Maintain accurate records of inventory and shipments using warehouse management systems.Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely.Coordinate with carriers and internal departments to ensure timely deliveries.Maintain a clean and organized shipping and receiving area.Assist with cycle counts and inventory audits.Essential SkillsExperience in shipping and receiving or warehouse operations.Proficiency in using shipping software and inventory systems such as SAP or Oracle.Ability to lift heavy items, often up to 50 lbs.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Additional Skills & QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent.Forklift certification may be required.Familiarity with ERP systems and data entry.Experience with FedEx and UPS systems.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
Work in a warehouse setting, utilizing technologies such as RF scanners and material handling equipment. Dress code is casual, suitable for a dynamic and hands-on work environment.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Atlanta, Georgia.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.
