Sanmina Energy (Houston) provides: Product Engineering with an emphasis on energy including very complex electro-mechanical systems; Assembly & Test for full electromechanical assemblies across multiple industries with capability to produce new and legacy [high temperature] printed circuit board assemblies; and Precision Machining with capabilities across the full material spectrum.   Job Title: Shipping and Receiving Clerk   Job Purpose: Verifies and maintains records on incoming and outgoing shipment, and prepares items for shipment. Duties include assembling, addressing, stamping, and shipping merchandise or material; receiving, unpacking, verifying, and recording incoming merchandise or material; and arranging for the transportation of products.     Nature of Duties: Examines shipment contents and compare with bill of ladling to verify accuracy. Packs, seals, labels, or affixes postage to prepare materials for shipping, using hand tools, power tools, or postage meter. Delivers or routes materials to departments using hand truck, conveyor, or sorting bins. Requisition and stores shipping materials and supplies to maintain inventory of stock. Performs the physical or administrative tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, storing, and distributing of materials, parts supplies and equipment. Unpacks and checks goods received against purchase orders or invoices, maintains records of received goods and rejects unsatisfactory items. Lifts heavy items and operate fork lift Prepares and maintains records of merchandise shipped. Posts weights and shipping charges and prepares goods for final shipment. Examines stocks and distributes materials in inventory and on manufacturing lines.   Non-Essential functions and duties: May prepare kitting packages for assembly production Other duties as assigned   Education and Experience: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
