**Job Title: Shipper & Receiver 2** **Job Description** We are seeking a dedicated Shipper & Receiver who can follow specific directions to perform shipping and receiving tasks. This role requires a basic understanding and use of standard procedures. The primary duties include receiving, loading, unloading, picking, inventory control, and stocking products. Additionally, you will be responsible for consolidating and replenishing products throughout the warehouse, and picking and pulling products for daily orders. A strong emphasis is placed on safety, quality, productivity, and housekeeping to meet daily goals and objectives. **Responsibilities** + Receive and verify documentation, SKU numbers, quantities, and overall quality from vendors. + Stock products from vendors and plants into bulk locations. + Consolidate products with the same SKU numbers in bulk locations. + Pull bulk products and place them in pick zones. + Consult with Inventory Control to resolve stock issues. + Retrieve specified products from pick locations for shipping. + Transfer cartons from shipping lanes to stack onto pallets for loading. + Meet and maintain department quality and productivity standards. + Drive power industrial equipment as needed, certification required. + Perform other duties as deemed necessary or assigned. **Essential Skills** + 1-2 years of warehouse experience. + Experience with shipping and receiving, order picking, pallet jack, RF scanner, and electric pallet jack. + Thorough knowledge of safety expectations. + Ability to support resolution of complex problems and work with a diverse staff. + Effective communication and collaboration skills. + Foresight to anticipate problems and recognize opportunities for improvement. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Minimum 2 years verifiable experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment. + Previous power industrial vehicle experience preferred. + Basic computer skills and understanding of overall distribution operations. + Ability to read and comprehend information and count inventory accurately. + Comfortable working in 3-level modules and not afraid of heights. + Ability to lift up to 40 pounds repetitively and frequently. + Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time and climb stairs throughout the shift. + Flexible to work overtime with little or no notice. **Why Work Here?** Enjoy a full benefits package and a pay raise when transitioning to permanent status.
