Job Description

We are seeking a highly competent Shipper with strong forklift operation and packaging skills. The ideal candidate will be a responsible team player, capable of working independently with a keen attention to detail. Reporting to the Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the smooth flow of goods within our operations.

Responsibilities

Operate a forklift to ship, receive, and organize parts.Ensure proper and safe packaging for sales and warranty parts.Record movements of parts, supplies, materials, and equipment in a computer system and perform relevant paperwork.Perform carpentry operations related to packaging of final products.Ensure quality of work and compliance with requirements.Issue accurate and timely reports as required.Follow the 'Safety First' philosophy.Maintain a clean and organized working area and perform other duties as assigned.

Essential Skills

Valid Forklift Certification on Counterbalance.2 years of experience operating CB and RR forklifts.Comfortable using computers for shipping documents such as bills of lading, custom papers, and shipping reports.Ability to lift 50 lbs.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience working with Visual Manufacturing software (not initially required but beneficial).Manufacturing experience.Good communication skills.Ability to use hand and power tools.

Work Environment

Work on a straight day shift from 6:45 am to 3:15 pm with overtime available after 44 hours. The shipping department currently has four team members, and you will receive training for 2-3 weeks. Embrace a collaborative environment that prioritizes safety and offers opportunities for skill development.

The pay range for this position is $20.40 - $20.40/hr.
