Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Shipper and Receiver who will be responsible for processing merchandise through various tasks that require product knowledge, independent decision-making, and the ability to learn processes, utilize tools, and operate equipment. This role involves achieving production standards within specific departments and may require flexibility to work in other departments based on product flow.
ResponsibilitiesProcess merchandise through purchase orders, invoices, worksheets, inventory management, and cycle counting.Physically move products within the facility, including Manufl, vault, and eComm cage.Operate computers for processing transfers, RF guns, and carousels for put-away and picking.Handle initial customer contact and manage incoming phone calls.Follow up on customer warranty repairs and work with QC and Business Operations Manager for Hotline calls.Maintain individual productivity standards and report daily.Ensure quality of product packaging and transfer movement.Conduct SKU verification/inspection and ticketing of merchandise.Complete accurate semi-annual inventory reconciliations.Process new merchandise through inspection, transfer completion, assignment, and secure storage.Perform additional duties and projects as assigned.Essential SkillsExperience with inventory management, RF scanners, shipping and receiving.Proficient in using Excel for handling purchase orders, invoices, and worksheets.Ability to learn new systems quickly.Data entry and customer service skills.Experience with order picking, packaging, and general labor.Additional Skills & QualificationsGood math, computer, and data entry skills.Experience with IMS inventory applications, automated software, and Microsoft Outlook.Attention to detail and ability to concentrate for extended periods.Strong written and oral communication skills.Ability to work mandated overtime throughout the year.Ability to work well in a tight-knit team and fast-paced environment.
Work Environment
The work environment is an air-conditioned warehouse with small teams. The shift is Monday-Thursday from 7am-4pm or 7:30am-4:30pm, and Friday from 7am-2pm, with two breaks and a lunch break (40 hours per week). During December, overtime may be required on weekends. The facility is metal-free, requiring employees to pass through a metal detector. There is light noise from drilling and some dust on the production floor, which could be a concern for individuals with dust allergies.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
