Overview
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Shipbroker Operator to join a dynamic and growing dry bulk desk. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing post-fixture operations, ensuring smooth execution of chartering contracts, and providing top-tier service to both clients and shipowners.
 
Key Responsibilities
Oversee all aspects of voyage and time charter operations for dry bulk vessels. Prepare and manage voyage instructions, laytime calculations, and documentation. Act as the main point of contact between shipowners, charterers, and agents, ensuring smooth communication and problem-solving. Monitor vessel performance, port activities, and operational costs to maximize efficiency. Maintain accurate operational records and reporting for internal and client purposes. Support brokers and chartering teams with operational insights to strengthen client relationships. Requirements
Prior experience in dry bulk vessel operations or chartering support. Strong knowledge of charter parties, laytime, and voyage planning. Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with a client-focused mindset. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, commercial environment with strong attention to detail. Proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of shipping software is a plus.
