The Shipboard Missiles Program Office has high visibility, high impact opportunity for a Solid Rocket Motor Production Program Manager. In this role, as a change agent, you will be responsible for positively impacting cost, schedule, and quality requirements for solid rocket motor production at a supplier. This role will develop key executive-level relationships internally with Program Management, Engineering, Operations & Supply Chain, Quality & Mission Assurance. Additionally, you will be responsible for building and developing collaboration, trust and accountability with the suppliers' senior management levels, to drive business results that have a significant impact on the portfolio’s financial performance and bottom line. Additionally, you will enable the delivery of solid rocket motors in support of the Navy and Missile Defense Agency mission capabilities. You will navigate Supplier Statement of Work/Specification changes, enabling robust risk and opportunity management. You will work with the supplier to identify capacity and manufacturing improvements, including supplier investment, to position Raytheon and the supplier for success. This role will report directly to the Vice President of the Shipboard Missiles Business Unit.

What You Will Do:

Meet or exceed program objectives to include supplier financial, technical, quality, and schedule performanceResponsible for influencing a cross functional team of engineers, quality, and procurement professionals to achieve Raytheon and customer deliverablesBuild relationships with supplier counterparts and executives to improve the supplier’s performance and alignment with our organization’s prioritiesSupport financial planning activities to include forecasting, AOP, and EACLead the supplier risk mitigation and opportunity capture processDevelop and implement a supplier strategy that addresses current execution and future businessAssess and communicate supplier metrics to internal stakeholders, and provide direct feedback to the supplierDomestic business travel approximately 25% (potential for some international travel)

Qualifications You Must Have:

A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 12 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 10 years’ experienceExperience with Program/Project Management

Qualifications We Prefer:

Knowledge of rocket motor production processesExperience across multiple functional domainsCurrent RTX Program Management certification, or equivalent external trainingExperience providing executive level briefings on complex topicsExperience identifying and implementing production process improvementsKnowledge and experience working with FAR, DFARExperience with Earned Value (EV) and Estimate at Complete (EAC) processesExperience with Statements of Work (SOW)Experience as a member of a cross-functional team and/or experience with program management

The salary range for this role is 147,000 USD - 295,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
