HSSE (Health, Safety, Security & Environment)


To effectively manage and minimise HSE risks within the area of responsibility by ensuring:

Full compliance with all HSE policies, rules, guidelines and legal requirementsPromotion of a safe working environment, contributing positively to company HSE KPIs and risk‑reduction strategiesIdentification, maintenance and enforcement of HSE competency requirements within the area of responsibilit


Strategy

Supervise depot operations in line with relevant legislation and industry regulationsEnsure high customer service levels, contributing to the effective management and efficient functioning of the terminalSupport operational excellence by aligning daily activities with strategic depot and terminal goals
Marketing / Asset ManagementOversee and manage all plant operations, ensuring all depot/gantry activities and product movements are executed safely, accurately and efficientlyMaintain effective stock control, ensuring:Stock gains/losses remain within acceptable standardsDaily product reconciliation to support quality controlManage the loading and issuing of all productsto ensure:The correct product, at the correct time, in the correct quantityCompliance with service levels and transport KPIs for improved customer satisfactionPerform regular gantry and driver compliance inspections (Work Instructions, housekeeping, vehicle operating standards), reducing incidents and ensuring adherence to transport legislationResolve customer queries promptly, contributing to an improved customer experienceAssist with on‑the‑job training for employees and interns, supporting rotation and skills development in line with programme objectivesPerform any other duties reasonably assigned by the Depot ManagerEnsure accurate and detailed shift handoversInvestigate product losses, addressing variances caused by administrative errors or incorrect loading


Candidate Profile Job Requirements: 


Matric and a relevant 3‑year tertiary qualification (or equivalent)


Minimum 1 year experience in logistics administration and stock management, preferably within the petrochemical industry
