Shift Supervisor
**Summary** The **Shift Supervisor** supports the MDA Security and Emergency Management Directorate (DSS) in managing Security Operations Services at MDA facilities located throughout the United States. **Responsibilities** + Manages and supervises management and hourly staff to ensure access control, visitor support, and alarm response and dispatch operations are being executed in full compliance with contract requirements. + Works in collaboration with the site Operations Managers, and Shift Supervisors to ensure all contract obligations are met. + Supervises Security Control Center operations to include Access Control/Response/Circulation Enforcement, Badge Administration, and Common Access Card Administration. + Ensure all security personnel are professionally trained and capable of conducting primary duties. + Provide first response & assessment of emergency situations (Red Cross first aid, Adult CPR, external defibrillator (AED) certifications) + Conduct security inspections, respond to alarms, incidents, emergencies, and aid as required + Other duties as assigned **Qualifications** + Minimum of 8 years’ experience in security or law enforcement administration and substantial operations experience in the armed forces, physical security, or law enforcement, 6 years of which are at the supervisory level. + Minimum of 6 years’ experience in analytical decision making and administrative work at the executive management level. + Minimum of an associate or bachelor’s degree in security, law enforcement, or management related fields (or equivalent training and experience). + Must have prior experience as a Site Manager or Site Supervisor of similar size and scope to this contract. + Eligible to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance + Required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States. _Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:_ + Must know of various computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, database, (MSWord, Excel, Access, PowerPoint), and Outlook.
