POSITION SUMMARY  

A skilled and knowledgeable Machine Operator to set up and operate wheel loader, stacker, and reclaimer, loading, unloading and ensure efficient running of production.

JOB RESPONSIBLITIES  
i. Primary Task  

•    Operate equipment in the Yard and Port operation productive processes such as wheel loader, stacker, reclaimer, loading and unloading port machines.

•    To communicate with CCR, Yard Leader, Maintenance etc. via radio on daily operation routines.

•    To perform routine inspection at designated area as per schedule and grab lubrication once per 24 hours.

•    To align daily routine with Vale Production System.

•    Execute the procedures respecting the safety, health, environment and quality norms.

•    Maintain cleanliness of the working area.

•    Fulfill the pre-established goals and programs of the production/operation.

•    Responsible to maintain a safe and clean working environment. Achieve zero LTI and drive the safety culture in the terminal.

•    Ensure that safe working practices according to VALE golden rules policy and procedures are strictly adhered to and PPE is always worn by all shift staff and contractors.

•    Clear understanding of the daily operating plan, shift strategies and objectives.

•    Ensure Hot-Seat-Change procedure must be complied without fail to ensure 
               Continuous and smooth port operation.

•    Should most of the times remain at place of work (Yard area) and take ownership and responsibility to ensure that plans are accomplished with 100% accuracy and efficiency.

•    To monitor the stockpile condition during the operation process.

•    To monitor Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) operation (if necessary).

•    To ensure and assist cleaning activity at port area has been done according to the plan given. 

•    To complete other work tasks as deemed necessary and appropriate by management.

ii. Secondary Task (if any)  

•    Be very proactive member when it comes to the process implementation, monitoring and improvement yard efficiency.

4. QUALIFICATIONS  

•    Diploma in engineering field or equivalent qualification, with possess H-Type License.
•    Or SPM-Level but possess H-Type License with 4-years of experience in operating Machinery.
•    Undergo RAC training as per required.
