Within the Olympia destination, Hyatt Regency London Olympia will offer 204 bedrooms, a bar and restaurant, a welcoming lobby lounge and three meeting rooms, with direct connectivity to Pillar Hall and the International Convention Centre. As a new opening, the hotel presents an exciting opportunity to join a growing team and be part of the opening of a landmark new hotel.
Duties and responsibilities related to the Shift Engineer role
· Work as part of the engineering team to deliver tasks and repairs across the property
· Carry out engineering work in guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces, ensuringhigh standardsand supporting a positive guest experience
· Handle general engineering tasks across multiple disciplines, including electrical, mechanical, air-conditioning, fire protection, carpentry, and plumbing, while ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards
· Complete planned preventive engineering work within plant rooms, guest rooms, and public areas
· Conduct regular inspections of the property, with particular attention to safety features and the condition of operational equipment
Schedule: Available working hours will vary each week and can range anywhere from 0 to 40 hours.
About you
Previousexperience in hotel engineering is preferred. You have broad technical knowledge across disciplines such as mechanical, electrical, and plumbing.
Professional, reliable, and detail-oriented, you are comfortable working independently or collaboratively as part of a team,maintaining high standardsof safety and operational excellence at all times.
