If so, let's start the conversation. **Job Summary** Iron Mountain is seeking a motivated and technically proficient **Shift Engineer** to join our **Data Center Operations** team in Mumbai. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the shift team to ensure 100% availability of critical infrastructure and executing all planned and unplanned maintenance activities within strict timelines. You will work alongside a dedicated team of facilities experts committed to maintaining world-class uptime and safety standards for our global clients. **What You’ll Do** In this role, you will: + **Responsibility 1:** Lead the shift team in planning, organizing, and supervising the maintenance of Data Center building systems—including High Tension/Low Tension (HT/LT) electrical systems, Diesel Generators, and HVAC—to ensure 100% equipment availability. + **Responsibility 2:** Collaborate with vendors, Critical Environment (CE) teams, and change management stakeholders to track complaints, manage Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and execute Method of Procedure (MOP) protocols for technical interventions. + **Responsibility 3:** Ensure 100% compliance with organizational and government safety standards, maintaining rigorous physical security processes and accurate inventory records as per Business Continuity Plan (BCP) requirements. **What You’ll Bring** The ideal candidate will have: + **6-12 years** of professional experience specifically within **Data Center operations** . + Strong knowledge of **critical infrastructure systems** , including Fire Alarm Systems, Access Control, Video Surveillance, and Building Management Systems (BMS). + Proven ability in **incident management and risk assessment** , with a track record of meeting strict Service Level Agreements (SLA) and Turnaround Times (TAT). + A **Diploma or similar qualification in Electrical Engineering** . **Call to Action** If you are a technical leader ready to ensure the resilience of world-class digital infrastructure, **apply today to join the Iron Mountain team!** Category: Real Estate & Facilities Iron Mountain is a global leader in storage and information management services trusted by more than 225,000 organizations in 60 countries.
