Sheet Metal Mechanic

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Sheet Metal Mechanic to join our team. The role involves installing sheet metal using spiral, stainless, steel, duct board, and double wall sheet metal. Experience with offsets, 90s, and VAV boxes is essential. Candidates must possess their own tools and personal protective equipment (PPE). Commercial experience working on hospitals, schools, high-rises, and office buildings is required.

Responsibilities

Install sheet metal using spiral, stainless, steel, duct board, and double wall materials.Work with offsets, 90-degree angles, and VAV boxes.Ensure all installations meet safety and quality standards.Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently.Maintain equipment and tools in good working condition.

Essential Skills

Minimum of 5 years of experience with commercial sheet metal.Proficiency in sheet metal installation and ductwork.Ability to work with various materials such as spiral, stainless, and steel.Strong understanding of HVAC systems.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Possess reliable transportation.Experience working on a variety of commercial projects including hospitals, schools, and office buildings.

Work Environment

Work hours are Monday to Friday, from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. The role includes working on diverse commercial sites such as hospitals, schools, and high-rises, providing a variety of work experiences.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $30.00/hr.
