Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Sheet Metal Mechanic to install ductwork systems in commercial and industrial environments. This role requires precision fabrication, assembly, and installation of duct systems while ensuring compliance with mechanical plans and specifications.
Responsibilities
Fabricate, assemble, and install duct systems for HVAC applications.Layout runs, hangers, and terminations according to project drawings.Work with galvanized, stainless steel, and other sheet metals; cut, bend, and join materials using appropriate tools.Read and interpret prints, shop drawings, and mechanical plans to ensure accurate installation.Essential Skills
Journeyman License in Delaware or 7+ years of verifiable sheet metal trade experience.Proficiency in cutting, bending, and joining sheet metal components.Ability to interpret technical drawings and apply mechanical codes.Reliable transportation and own tools required.Additional Skills & Qualifications
OSHA‑10 certification preferred.Experience in commercial/industrial HVAC duct installations.Familiarity with fabrication standards and jobsite safety practices.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
Work at industrial/commercial job sites across Delaware. The schedule is Monday–Friday with 8-hour shifts, and overtime/weekends as needed. The projects include commercial/industrial new construction and renovation.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Newark, DE.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $34.00 - $36.00/hr.
