**Job Title: Sheet Metal Mechanic /Lead** Lynchburg, VA Pay: $25/hr. and up depending on experience Job Description We are seeking experienced Sheet Metal Mechanics and Lead level candidates with a minimum of 2 years of experience. There are opportunities available at various job sites in Lynchburg as well as a position in Roanoke, VA. Responsibilities + Install, repair, and maintain sheet metal works in commercial or public buildings. + Measure and cut ductwork using measuring instruments and hand tools. + Perform general labor tasks related to sheet metal work. + Supervise and manage a crew of 1-4 helpers, ensuring daily tasks are completed efficiently. + Transport tools, materials, equipment, and supplies to work sites by hand, truck, or motorized vehicle. + Perform laboring duties related to the installation, maintenance, and repair of various systems and equipment. + Maintain cleanliness and order in work areas. Essential Skills + Minimum of 2 years of experience in commercial sheet metal installation. + Experience in HVAC, blueprint reading, duct work, and sheet metal fabrication. + Proficient in using hand and power tools. + Ability to read and interpret blueprints. + Journeymen level experience is preferred. + Capability to run and supervise a crew effectively. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience in HVAC sheet metal installation and fabrication. + Ability to work with hand tools and perform tasks requiring physical exertion. + Comfortable working in varying temperatures and weather conditions. + Strong people skills and ability to work well with others. + Reliable transportation and a positive attitude.
