Are you an experienced Sheet Metal General Superintendent with a passion for commercial or government construction projects? We're seeking a highly skilled and well-rounded individual to join our Field Operations team in the King's Bay, GA and Jacksonville, FL areas. If you're driven by safety, quality work, and delivering on schedule and within budget, this could be your next opportunity.\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nLead and supervise all Sheet Metal activities.\nCoordinate assigned crews and subcontractors to ensure seamless execution of Sheet Metal installation in compliance with project requirements and timelines.\nEnsure safety, quality, and adherence to project specifications, maintaining a strong alignment with RQ's Mission, Vision, and Values.\nWork closely with the GC Superintendent to support the coordination of multiple scopes of work across the project site.\nManage mechanical installations for government and military projects, ensuring adherence to all regulatory and safety standards.\nProactively identify and resolve potential issues to keep projects on track.\nFoster a positive and collaborative work environment, emphasizing teamwork and professionalism across all crews and subcontractors.\n\nRequired Qualifications:\n\nFour or more years of experience as a Sheet Metal Superintendent (government, military, or large commercial construction projects preferred).\nFour or more years of field or trade experience as a journey-worker level Sheet Metal Installer (government, military, or large commercial construction projects preferred).\nTrade school apprenticeship program completion preferred.\nExperience with duct installation, AHU's, fans, and procurement of material.\nExperience in the design-build industry is a plus.\nCPR, First Aid, OSHA 30-hour Certifications, EM-385, and STS required (training can be provided).\nHigh school diploma or GED required.\nTrade school apprenticeship program completion preferred.\nComputer literacy (Microsoft Outlook preferred).\nBIM software knowledge is preferred, with training available.\n\nWhat We Offer:\n\nCompetitive salary and benefits including medical, dental, vision, and a 401k with a match.\nOpportunities to work on high-profile government and military projects.\nOngoing training and professional development to help you succeed in your career.\nA collaborative work environment focused on safety, quality, and delivering exceptional results.\n\n
