Role Overview

Oversee safety-sensitive operations including box coring, piston coring, API drilling, and seabed drilling equipment. Invigilate marine geotechnical subcontractors to ensure adherence to company specifications and timelines. Manage daily operations effectively, reviewing and approving daily progress reports. Maintain safety and security vigilance throughout the project. Actively participate in safety awareness training and promote behavior-based safety practices.

Skills & Qualifications

HSE Expertise: Strong knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations. Marine Operations: Experience with Class II drillships and associated marine operations. Competency in implementing behavior-based training regimens. Proficient in Job Safety Analysis assessment methods.

Education & Experience

Experience: Minimum 10-15 years of relevant experience in safety supervision or site management. Offshore Experience: Previous experience working offshore Mozambique is beneficial. Valid offshore certifications they need to hold - UKOG medical and BOSIET offshore survival
