Skill & Competency Requirements:

Fundamental Duties: 

Moves skids of titanium sheet with forkliftWill physically lift and move titanium sheets in and out of the grinders with the help of conveyors and will physically need to flip and turn the titanium sheetWill visually self-inspect the sheet surface and use a grinding tool to remove any defectsWill use a micrometer and thickness gauge (vidigauge) to check the thickness of the titanium sheetCut titanium sheets to specPerforms minor shear maintenance Performs periodic cleaning of shear and work areaSetups up machines and observes machine operation to detect any malfunction Other duties as assigned
