**Description:** · Assist in conducting workplace safety inspections and hazard identification exercises. · Support incident, accident, and near-miss investigations and documentation. · Help maintain safety records, reports, registers, and statistics. · Participate in risk assessments and recommend corrective actions. · Assist in monitoring compliance with safety policies, procedures, and legal requirements. · Support emergency preparedness activities, including drills and evacuation exercises. · Conduct safety inductions for new employees, contractors, and visitors under supervision. · Assist in delivering safety training and awareness campaigns. · Monitor the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and report non-compliance. · Support occupational health initiatives and workplace wellness programs. · Assist in environmental management activities, including waste management and pollution control. · Prepare safety reports, presentations, and toolbox talk materials. · Participate in committee meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. **Qualifications:** · Studying towards a Diploma or Degree in Occupational Safety and Health, Environmental Health, Environmental Science, Geography & Environmental Studies or related fields. · Basic knowledge of occupational health and safety principles. · Understanding of relevant health and safety legislation and standards. · Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. · Good communication and interpersonal skills. · Ability to work independently and as part of a team. · Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. **Primary Location:** Zimbabwe-Harare **Organization:** Hyatt Regency Harare **Job Level:** Part-time **Job:** Internship **Req ID:** HAR000106 Hyatt is an equal employment opportunity and affirmative action employer.
