We are currently seeking a SharePoint Developer to join our team in Vancouver, BC. Job Description: A SharePoint Online Developer integrating a knowledge base with a Dynamics 365 Customer Service module is responsible for designing, developing, and supporting customized SharePoint Online solutions that seamlessly connect with Dynamics 365 to enhance customer service operations. This role involves gathering requirements, building scalable SharePoint applications, integrating SharePoint with Dynamics 365 for document and knowledge management, and ensuring smooth data and workflow integration between platforms. Key responsibilities include: + Gathering and analyzing business requirements related to knowledge base content and customer service workflows to design integrated solutions. + Developing and customizing SharePoint Online sites, lists, libraries, workflows, and web parts tailored to support the knowledge base within the Dynamics 365 Customer Service environment. + Integrating SharePoint Online with Dynamics 365 Customer Service module, enabling document management, knowledge article storage, and synchronization of customer service data. + Developing custom forms, web parts, and Power Platform components (Power Apps, Power Automate) to automate processes and improve user experience. + Writing and debugging code using technologies such as SharePoint Framework (SPFx), C#, JavaScript, REST APIs, and PowerShell to implement features and integrations. + Collaborating closely with Dynamics 365 developers and administrators to ensure data consistency, security, and optimal performance of the integrated solution. + Providing ongoing maintenance, support, and training to users and stakeholders on the integrated SharePoint-Dynamics 365 knowledge base. + Ensuring compliance with organizational governance, security policies, and best practices in SharePoint and Dynamics 365 deployments. Required skills and qualifications: + 5 years experience with SharePoint Online development and administration, including SharePoint Framework (SPFx), SharePoint Designer, and PowerShell scripting . + Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Service module, including customization, plugin development (C#), JavaScript form extensions, and integration with external systems. + 5 years experience with Power Platform tools like Power Automate and Power Apps for automation and custom interface development. + 5 years experience: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, REST APIs, XML, JSON, and .NET Framework (C#). + Ability to design and implement secure, scalable SharePoint solutions that integrate with Dynamics 365 and other enterprise systems. + 5 years experience with databases and data storage technologies, such as SQL Server and Dataverse, for managing structured knowledge base content. + Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills, with experience in full software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies. Preferred certifications: + Microsoft certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Developer, Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Customer Service Functional Consultant, or Microsoft Certified: SharePoint Developer. + This role demands both technical expertise in SharePoint and Dynamics 365 platforms and the ability to collaborate across teams to deliver an integrated knowledge base solution that enhances customer service effectiveness and user satisfaction.
