Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Shareholder Servicing Agent to join our team in Richmond, Virginia. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting financial and administrative processes within the Transfer Agency department. This position is ideal for someone who has a strong background in accounting tasks and enjoys working in a dynamic environment. Responsibilities: • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and efficiently. • Utilize QuickBooks to manage financial records and ensure proper documentation. • Perform precise data entry to maintain up-to-date information in company systems. • Handle invoice processing tasks, including verification and reconciliation. • Collaborate with team members to support the Transfer Agency department's activities. • Assist in resolving discrepancies related to financial transactions or shareholder accounts. • Generate reports and summaries to support decision-making processes. • Maintain compliance with company policies and financial regulations. • Provide high-quality service to shareholders by addressing inquiries and concerns. • Support other administrative tasks as needed to facilitate smooth operations. Requirements • At least 1 year of experience in accounting or a related field. • Proficiency in accounts payable and accounts receivable processes. • Hands-on experience with QuickBooks and other financial tools. • Strong data entry skills with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail. • Familiarity with invoice processing and reconciliation procedures. • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment. • Excellent organizational and time management skills. • Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance standards.
