Position Summary:
The Shared Space Specialist plays a critical tactical role in supporting the end-to-end planning and execution of Shared Space assortments across BJ’s clubs. This can extend to Seasonal Center Core, High Value Space, End Caps and Apparel. This position manages the coordination, mapping, and item-level execution required to bring these Shared Space sets to life in clubs, working closely with Merchants, Space Planning, and cross-functional partners. With overlapping timelines for seasonal sets and other planned display dates, the ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, is highly detail-oriented, and excels at managing multiple workstreams simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities:
Shared Space Planning & Mapping
Collect and compile seasonal space requests from merchants to support Sr. Manager and Sr. Analyst to build interactive Center Core map files.Create and maintain interactive Center Core maps based on guidance from Sr. Analyst for leadership and merchant review and sign-off.Compile high value space and end cap submissions for leadership and merchant review and sign-off.Merchant Coordination & Tools Management
Build merchant-facing acknowledgement files for center core once maps are finalized for each season.Create and distribute MSP files for each category receiving Center Core space.Track all MSP updates leading up to final sign-off to ensure version control and accuracy.Create and distribute files for HVS and end caps once space is approved and track all changes leading up to final sign-off.Support relevant steps in apparel planning processes including preparation for club communication, article assignments, and other tertiary steps.Article Setup & Listing Assignments
Use finalized MSPs to build master data submissions for article listing across Center Core clusters.Manage all center core and high value space/end cap article listings for new club assortments, ensuring alignment with seasonal sets and planned display set dates.Use final high value space and end cap submission file for master data submission for article listings for each display set.Execution Support
Support MyWork task creation and support build process of Center Core flow-a-grams for each set.Compile set-specific execution notes and distribute to clubs to support in-club execution accuracy for Center Core and High Value Space/End Caps.Qualifications:
2+ years in merchandising operations, retail planning, or item setup preferredAdvanced proficiency in Excel (interactive mapping, file version control, VLOOKUPs, etc.)Strong organizational and project coordination skillsHigh attention to detail and ability to manage multiple overlapping timelinesStrong communication skills and comfort working with cross-functional partnersThis is a hybrid role. Tuesday through Thursday are in-office days at BJ's Club Support Center in Marlborough, MA and Monday and Friday are remote days.
In accordance with the Pay Transparency requirements, the following represents a good faith estimate of the compensation range for this position. At BJ’s Wholesale Club, we carefully consider a wide range of non-discriminatory factors when determining salary. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, education, experience, and qualifications. The pay range for this position is starting from $60,500.00.
