As a Set Up Technician, you will be responsible for configuring the punch press with the correct tools and dies to ensure optimal operation. Your role involves programming the machine with precise codes, running the machine, and verifying that the parts are stamped correctly according to specifications. You will use calipers and micrometers to check the parts against the prints, and work with various materials such as coils, foil, and blanks. Your mechanical inclination and troubleshooting skills will be vital, and a background in machining or tool and die is highly advantageous.
