Job Description

The Set-Up Technician is responsible for performing regularly scheduled preventive maintenance and monthly safety checks. You will make modifications to equipment and facilities as scheduled through the work order system. Completing all assigned paperwork and coordinating with the Reliability Supervisor to ensure data accuracy is crucial. The role involves testing, analyzing, and adjusting electro-mechanical devices such as timers, mechanical/solid state relays, solenoid valves, and electrically activated regulators.

Responsibilities

Perform preventive maintenance and monthly safety checks.Make equipment and facility modifications as scheduled.Complete all assigned paperwork and coordinate with the Reliability Supervisor.Test, analyze, and adjust electro-mechanical devices.Repair and troubleshoot components using meters, electrical schematics, blueprints, and other specifications.Other duties as assigned.

Essential Skills

Troubleshooting and preventive maintenance skills.Ability to set up machines and be mechanically inclined.Proficiency in using electrical meters to troubleshoot and analyze machine issues.Experience in assembling wires, insulation, and electrical components such as timing devices, relays, solenoids, and regulators.Capability to test assembled equipment for circuit continuity and operational reliability.Skills in calibrating instruments according to specifications.Understanding and repairing pneumatic and hydraulic equipment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent.2+ years of experience in an industrial maintenance environment.1 year of experience with electrical and mechanical systems in an industrial environment.1 year of experience with tools, procedures, and methods utilized in an industrial maintenance environment.1 year of experience with electronic and PLC based applications in an industrial environment.

Work Environment

The work environment is hot, operating on a 2/2/3 shift schedule from Monday to Friday, 7pm to 7am.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
