Roles and Responsibilities
Manage Course Logistics for all customer classes (mainly in North America)Manage customer training schedules and assign instructors based on their skill-set and availability through Smartsheet and Service MaxManage all customer pre-training meetings and ensure all meeting minutes are documented and shared in a timely mannerShipping and receiving training equipment in a timely manner. This requires understanding of shipping regulations, documentation and the use of the internal shipping system.Assist Instructors in Printing Manuals (using pcard or otherwise) and working with suppliers to expedite printing and resolve payment issues.Assist instructors in printing Student CertificatesCoordinate Customer Student Give-aways and keeping a record of inventoryAssist Regional Training Managers (RTM’s) with facility coordination and ensuring training rooms are in a presentable condition for hosting customers and internal activitiesWelcome and assist customers attending training in the Longmont facilityWork with RTMs to issue requested Purchase Orders (PO) in assistance with internal/external trainingRequest quotes from subcontractorsInitiate Purchase Requests for Purchase OrderReceive and verify invoices with RTM prior to GRMark orders Good Received (GR) in SAPEscalate to Payment team when invoices are rejected and follow through to resolutionUse SAP to Verify Backlog, extract project technical data and close out projectsVerify backlog revenue, dates and product-line codes in SAPCollect customer technical data and share it with instructors using Easy DMS or any other GE systemWork with Project Managers, Project Engineers and Project coordinators to maintain SAP data. This will include select duties as content developer, trainer, and registrar.Broadening knowledge of own technical discipline to execute policy/strategy. May include support roles with specialized technical field of knowledge; still acquiring higher level knowledge and skills.Basic understanding of key business drivers; uses this understanding to accomplish own work. Good understanding of how work of own team integrates with other teams and contributes to the area.May have some autonomy to make decisions within a defined framework. Resolves issues in situations that require good technical knowledge and judgment within established procedures. Consults more senior team members for issues outside of defined instructions/parameters.A job at this level requires good interpersonal skills and may be required to lead a junior team. For customer facing roles, develops strong customer relationships and serves as the interface between customer and GE.Required Qualifications
BS degree from an accredited institution in business administration, accounting, science or HRPractical experience in a related field (education, project management or business administration) for at least 4 years.Hands-on experience coordinating multiple training events in a corporate settingProven organizational and communication skillsAdequate knowledge of learning management systems and web development toolsProficiency with Excel, MS Office, MS Project Builder, NotesAdvanced organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple concurrent assignmentsDesired Characteristics
Experience with SAP, Service Max and SmartsheetProject management expertise (e.g. PMP)Experience working for a large engineering firm (> 1000 persons)To be a quick self-motivated learnerTechnical communication & business acumen to drive overall solutionsKnowledge of learning management systems and web delivery toolsExperience with e-learning platforms, AI solutions and other digital toolsAbility to handle multiple assignments and work under pressing scheduleThe base pay range for this position is $72,400.00 - 108,600.00 USD Annual. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for a 5% performance bonus/variable incentive compensation/equity.
