Services Naval Contract Lead
**Job Description Summary** GE Vernova’s Power Conversion & Storage business provides electrification systems that are critical to customers’ power and energy needs for their high-performance applications. We work with some of the world’s major energy, maritime and industrial organizations, helping to enable a transition to energy efficiency and decarbonization, including through our specialist motors, drives and control technologies. **Job Description** As the **Services Naval Contract Lead** you will manage sales opportunities within the Naval Services Maritime Systems Transformation (MaST) contract. The contract focuses on the availability of Royal Navy warships, streamlining the support and procurement of non-combat equipment. You will take ownership from enquiry, order receipt through to delivery, support the bid process ensuring customer satisfaction at every stage. Knowledge of electrical products and experience in a marine procurement would be beneficial, as would being familiar with Naval inventory. **In this role you will focus on:** + Processing RFQ’s through the bid process + Proactively identify 3rd party equipment to satisfy RFQ requirements + Proactively managing opportunities through the internal bid process + Helping to develop job specific differentiators to create competitive offerings, in conjunction with the wider support team + Planning and organising the sales approach to assure the most effective development of sales opportunities + Liaising with Commercial Operations & Application Engineering departments to help build winning bids + Some travel to customer meetings in the UK **We are looking for a committed and professional individual with:** + Knowledge of electrical products and marine systems + An ambitious and proactive attitude + The ability to be resourceful and deal with multiple requests, in a fast-paced environment + Excellent communication skills and the ability to work accurately at pace, in a methodical and tidy manner + The ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively + Strong organizational and communication skills + Ability to work effectively independently and within a team + Proven track record in previously capturing and interpreting customer requirements on a regular basis + Adaptability and an enthusiastic approach – a team player and effective communicator + Fluency in English, both verbal and in writing **What will make you stand out:** + Knowledge of electrical products in a marine environment + Experience in dealing with multiple suppliers to secure accurate and cost effective results + Marine or Naval background **You can expect from us:** + Challenging and exciting projects. + A work environment where we understand that not everyone has the same expectations about their jobs, careers and work-life balance and we are happy to discuss flexibility requirements. + Attractive compensation. + Flexible benefits so you can build a package that fits your personal needs.
