About the Role
As a Sales Intern within our Global Services and Solutions Sales team, you will gain hands-on experience supporting sales activities, analysing data, and working closely with internal teams and external partners. You’ll play an important role in ensuring our End User sales teams and channel partners receive the right level of support on customer opportunities, while contributing to initiatives that drive business growth and enhance customer experiences. This internship offers exposure to real-world sales operations in a dynamic, collaborative environment, with opportunities to build strong professional relationships and develop valuable commercial skills.
What you will do as a Services and Digital Sales Support Intern:
Support the Global Services and Solutions teams with day-to-day activities
Assist with sales analysis, reporting, and administrative tasks
Coordinate and communicate with internal stakeholders and external partners
Contribute to sales initiatives, partner events, and customer opportunities
What we are looking for in our Interns:
Undergraduate or postgraduate students enrolled at a UK university and eligible for a placement year
A strong interest in sales, business development, and the technology industry
A proactive, solution-oriented mindset with a willingness to learn
Strong communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills
An analytical approach with attention to detail and problem-solving ability
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
A great Services and Digital Sales Support Intern will have-
Basic understanding of sales processes and business operations
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) Nice to have - Power Bi
Good presentation, communication, and time-management skills

Key Requirements for this internship
This role is a 13-month industrial placement, running from 1 July 2026 to 30 July 2027, and is intended to form part of a recognised sandwich / placement year.
You must be currently enrolled in University degree programme and required to complete a formal placement year as part of your course, with a confirmed return to study after the placement.
Studying towards a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, ideally in Business, Marketing, Economics, or a related discipline.
Eligible to live and work in the UK for the full duration of the placement.
Work onsite at HP’s Reading headquarters (with occasional additional travel as required) / Hybrid working as standard
Please note: this role is only open to students completing a mandatory placement year as part of their university degree. Graduates and non-students will not be considered.
