ServiceNow Technical Consultant
We have an outstanding Contract position for aServiceNow Technical Consultantto join a leading Company located in theChantilly, VAsurrounding area. **US Citizenship is required.** **Candidate must possess an active Secret Security Clearance.** Currently seeking an experienced ServiceNow Technical Consultant (TC) to join our growing company. As a Consultant, you will work with analysts, architects, and other engineers, leveraging technical best practices to deliver out-of-the-box and custom solutions to our customers on the ServiceNow platform. Job Responsibilities: + Implement and Configure Common ServiceNow Applications and Capabilities, such as ITSM, ITOM, HR, SecOps, and Service Portal + Design / Develop ServiceNow Tables, Fields, Forms and Access Controls + Create Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, UI Policies, and UI Actions + Use JavaScript to develop solutions for requirements that can not be satisfied through configuration + Create Scoped Applications using Studio + Automate activities on the ServiceNow platform leveraging Flow Designer and/or Workflow Engine + Build data sets and transform maps for importing data from other sources into ServiceNow + Configure integrations between ServiceNow and other systems through Integration Hub or other capabilities + Document all technical work for purposes of knowledge transfer Basic Hiring Criteria: + Degree in Information technology or a related discipline or comparable combination of education and professional experience + Previous experience as a ServiceNow administrator, developer or equivalent role + Previous Scripting/Coding Experience (JavaScript preferred) + Active ServiceNow Certifications a plus + Experience with Agile software development and related concepts preferred + Excellent analytical and creative problem-solving skills + Technically savvy and able to design and build applications that meet business goals and objectives + Self-motivated, creative problem-solver who can adapt to new technologies and evolving customer requirements + Capable of working independently as well as in a team environment + Able to communicate (verbal and written) in a clear and concise manner , tailoring the communication appropriately to the intended audience + Excellent active listening skills + Capable of dealing with and managing conflict VEVRAA Federal Contractor / Request Priority Protected Veteran Referrals / Equal Opportunity Employer / Veterans / Disabled To read our Candidate Privacy Information Statement, which explains how we will use your information, please visithttp://www.tadpgs.com/candidate-privacy/orhttps://pdsdefense.com/candidate-privacy/ The Company will consider qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records in accordance with federal, state, and local laws and/or security clearance requirements, including, as applicable: + The California Fair Chance Act + Los Angeles City Fair Chance Ordinance + Los Angeles County Fair Chance Ordinance for Employers + San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance
