HOW A SERVICENOW DEVELOPER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
Create logical and functional software code within the ServiceNow platform.Successful candidate must have experience developing software solutions within ServiceNow and possess a basic understanding of object orientated languages like Javascript, Java, and Python.WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
Education: BS in Computer Science or related field, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experienceExperience: 10+ yearsRequired skills:Proven experience as the lead technical resource leading the development of solutions in client environments.Experience with ServiceNow development.Experience developing web-based applications.Experience with JavaScript or an equivalent languageExperience upgrading ServiceNow versionsProvide technical leadership and mentoring, perform peer code reviews, and ensure the ServiceNow team follows software development best-practicesShare ServiceNow best practices and be consultative throughout the technical design.Utilize ServiceNow expertise to create and implement workflows into applicationLeverage strong analytical and problem-solving skills to complete projects independently and within a team environment.Familiar with creating and promoting update sets throughout SDLCWorking with customers and other stakeholders to define clear and acceptable requirements for design documentation.Daily participation within an Agile/SCRUM teamUnderstanding of object orientated languages like Javascript, Java, and Python.Security clearance level: TS/SCI with PolygraphDesired skills: Experience working with API-based data sourcesServiceNow certificationExperience testing web-based applications – both manual and automated.Experience with functional, regression and load/performance testing.Experience with relational databases.Location: Chantilly, VA - On Customer SiteUS Citizenship RequiredGDIT IS YOUR PLACE:
