**What** **you’ll** **be doing**
You’ll be joining CIBC’s Employee Technology Service — Enterprise Service Management and Automation Development team, where you’ll help foster innovation and support our digital and agile transformation by enhancing our clients’ banking experience. As an ITAM ServiceNow Developer, you’ll be responsible for the technical design, development, support, troubleshooting, and integration of cross-functional, multi-platform application systems. You’ll lead the design and development of cost-effective, innovative solutions to meet business objectives while maintaining existing applications. You’ll also collaborate with other functional teams, actively participate in Scrum ceremonies, and expand the technical capabilities of the team.

**How** **you’ll** **succeed**
+ **Collaborative development** — Contribute to agile team goals by working with other functional teams,participatingin Scrum ceremonies, and expanding the technical capabilities of the team. Lead the design and development of cost-effective, innovative solutions to meet businessobjectiveswhilemaintainingexisting applications.
+ **Programming ability** — Perform and coordinate complex application programming activities within the Scrum team, including developing specifications, coding, testing, debugging, adjusting, and documenting to ensure successful implementation and maintenance of programs. Design the application's technical infrastructure using specific databases, programming languages, utilities, and Test-Driven Development (TDD).
+ **Lead and influence** — Lead code review sessions and ensure overall code quality aligns with business and project requirements. Monitor production and user acceptancetesting, andtroubleshoot complex problems on applications and technologies.Assistin the transformation from Waterfall to Agile methodologies and practices.
**Who you are**
+ **You can** **demonstrate** **experience of 3+ years in** **.** ServiceNow developmentand are skilled in ServiceNow IT Asset Management (ITAM). You have hands-on experience designing, developing, andoptimizingITAM solutions within the ServiceNow platform. In this role,you’llfocus on implementing and supporting Hardware Asset Management (HAM) and Software Asset Management (SAM) capabilities, ensuringaccurateasset lifecycle management, compliance, and cost optimization.You’llwork closely with stakeholders, architects, and operational teams to deliver scalable, out-of-the-box (OOTB) aligned ITAM solutions. Experience with ITAM,Asset and License Management, including implementing and supporting end-to-end asset lifecycle processes (request, procure, receive, deploy, maintain, retire); configuring software models, license models, normalization rules for software and hardware models, and reconciliation processes; ensuring accurate entitlement tracking, compliance reporting, and optimization recommendations; and managing software entitlements for products and models, is a strong asset. Experience with Hardware Asset Workspace, Software Asset Workspace, and hardware and software product lifecycle management is valuable. You should also be able to debug and resolve issues related to hardware/software models, software installations, asset-CI synchronization, and hardware/software lifecycles.You have experience with CMDB,Discoveryand third-party discovery tools to ensureaccurateasset data population,and exposure toSCCM-SGC, andWorkspaceOneUEM integrations.You maintain CMDB relationships and data quality aligned with CSDM standards, and can troubleshoot data discrepancies between CMDB, assets, and discovery sources. Strong knowledge of MID servers and the ECC queue isrequired.
