Join our Digital Team as ServiceNow Developer and you can help make it happen. This position is part of Service Excellence, a transversal organization into Sanofi Business Operations. Service Excellence designs, implements, and maintains scalable, efficient, and user-centric Enterprise Service Management (ESM) capabilities that connect Sanofi employees and partners with operations through standardized frameworks and solutions. Your job? The ServiceNow Developer serves as the technical owner of ServiceNow platform development, ensuring optimal implementation of solutions across service management processes. This role is responsible for designing, developing, and continuously improving ServiceNow applications to drive business value throughout the service lifecycle. The ServiceNow Developer manages technical implementations and works with the Senior Developers to engage design requirements that focus on process flow, customizations and third-party integration needs. Once engaged, the Developer ensures the defined integration points or workflows match the requirements outlined, as well as define the effort within the overall backlog. Concurrent to enablement activities, the Developer closely monitors ServiceNow development practices to ensure the platform quality is maintained so it can provide the best possible experience for our customers.
Main responsibilities:
Design and implement ServiceNow solutions in collaboration with DIGITAL teams, in alignment with Service Designers and Business AnalystsTake accountability for code quality, performance and adherence to development standardsDevelop and maintain applications, workflows and integrations within the ServiceNow platformEstablish technical roadmaps that support business objectives and enhance service delivery capabilitiesManage ServiceNow development backlog, working with technology and business partners to provide backlog prioritizationPrepare detailed estimates and test plans based on functional requirementsProvide training and support programs related to ServiceNow processes, policies and procedures.Analyze, design, document and test software modifications for existing processes/configurations, reports, forms, extensions, and interfaces in the production environmentDrive the design, configuration and deployment of new projects & system enhancementsGuide development teams and business analysts on optimal technical approaches and provide expert implementation supportResearch and analyse business requirements, provide conceptual and detail designs to meet business needs, manage configurations in ServiceNow, and test and support the rollout of solutionsEnsure coding best practices are followed in every sprint/deliveryCreate and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for developed applications and processesCoordinate with third-party vendors to manage technical activities and ensure timely completionDrive continuous improvement of implemented solutions based on performance metrics and user feedbackAct as ServiceNow domain expert in the following areas: CSM, HRSD, SPMContribute to strategic development projects requiring complex coding and platform customizationCoordinate activities with cross-functional team members to drive project completion and technical excellenceEstablish and maintain development standards, methodologies, and governanceIdentify and mitigate technical risks through proactive planning and code reviewsTranslate business requirements into technical specifications and solutionsBuild partnerships across the organization to champion effective technical approachesFacilitate technical workshops and collaborative sessions to align stakeholders on solution architectureIdentify emerging ServiceNow capabilities and technologies that could benefit the organizationRecommend process and technology improvements based on platform capabilities and industry best practicesImplement measurement frameworks to evaluate solution effectivenessDrive adoption of new capabilities through technical enablement and knowledge sharingAbout you
