Job Summary:
As a Service Technician, you will play a critical role in delivering high‑quality technical service and support to our customers. You will be responsible for the commissioning, operation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems—ensuring exceptional service delivery and customer satisfaction. This position requires strong technical capabilities, a commitment to safety, and a proactive, customer‑focused mindset. You will represent the company on-site, working closely with clients and colleagues to ensure our solutions perform to the highest standards.
Responsibilities:
Perform commissioning, start‑up, operational checks, and servicing of HVAC equipment at designated customer locations.Deliver a positive customer experience by identifying, diagnosing, and resolving system and equipment issues efficiently and professionally.Conduct planned and unplanned maintenance activities, including inspections, system testing, service interventions, component replacements, and system upgrades.Work collaboratively with the team leader and customers to understand technical requirements and ensure successful installations.Adhere to and promote the highest standards of workplace health and safety.Maintain accurate and timely documentation related to service tasks, including technical reports and work records.Qualifications:
Technical education in refrigeration or a university degree in HVAC engineering.Minimum of 3 years of hands‑on experience servicing chillers.Ability to read and interpret technical documentation in English.Strong motivation for continuous learning and growth, particularly in Trane HVAC products, systems, and service methodologies.Customer‑oriented approach with openness to supporting sales‑related activities when needed.Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.Valid Category B driver’s license (minimum 2 years).Preferred Qualifications
SEP electrical authorization.Certification for handling systems containing controlled substances.Authorization to operate refrigeration systems above 20 kW.Certification for operating pressure equipment.Hard‑solder brazing certification.We offer competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits and programs.
