**Job Title: Service Technician** **Job Description** We are seeking a dedicated Service Technician for a 1st shift position in a newly established facility. This is an in-house role with no travel required, focused on the repair and construction of hot runner systems for plastic injection machinery. The workday begins at 7 AM and typically lasts 8-10 hours. **Responsibilities** + Repair and build hot runner systems for plastic injection machinery. + Receive and interpret prints for building new systems using hand and power tools. + Diagnose and repair systems by locating original prints. + Assess job requirements by evaluating current products such as manifolds, nozzles, and controllers to prepare for appropriate repairs. + Perform necessary services according to established service protocols. + Test repaired products to ensure satisfactory performance. + Communicate scheduled timeframes to customers. **Essential Skills** + 3+ years in tool building. + 1+ year of experience in plastic injection maintenance, building, and repair. + Ability to interact with customers and provide excellent customer service. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with various plastic materials such as TPE and glass. + Experience in hot runner systems maintenance and repair. **Why Work Here?** The opportunity to work in a brand new facility with great benefits.
