We’re looking for a field-based Service Technician in the construction and exterior renovation industry.

Our client is experiencing steady growth and is looking to add a skilled Service Technician to support their Calgary-based operations. This hands-on role focuses on small exterior repairs, end-of-project quality checks, and client-facing deficiency reviews. The ideal candidate brings technical repair skills, a customer-first mindset, and the ability to work independently in the field.

Service Technician responsibilities:

Conduct deficiency walkthroughs with clients near project completion Perform small repairs on roofing, siding, and soft metal components Support color selection and scope review during claim assessments Collaborate with project coordinators, installation managers, and clients to resolve repair or claim concerns Perform material matching and siding validation to ensure installation quality Coordinate with suppliers for materials needed in small repairs or fixes Provide courteous, professional customer service in all client interactions Complete site documentation and reporting as required Support quality assurance initiatives and escalate any major concerns Adhere to safety protocols, including working at heights Assist with other duties as assigned by operations leadership

The successful candidate has:

Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with exterior construction repairs Strong working knowledge of roofing, siding, and soft metal systems Valid fall protection certification and comfortable working at heights Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal A positive, customer-focused attitude and ability to work with minimal supervision Proficiency with computers and willingness to learn CRM or service platforms Experience with tools such as XactAnalysis or similar systems is an asset

Compensation and benefits:

 The discussed salary range is $65,000 – $75,000 per year, depending on experience Mileage or company vehicle may be provided for field work Comprehensive benefits package Full-time, permanent role based in Calgary, AB Strong team environment and opportunity for growth
