Volt represents a leading manufacturer of vacuum and industrial equipment used in many industries such as Semiconductor, Glass Coating and Solar and they are immediately hiring for Service Technicians in Austin, TX.

As a Service Tech you will:

Repair and service Turbo Molecular Pumps, Power Supplies and other vacuum equipment Team member with other technicians to maintain a low turnaround time on customers’ equipment Must be mechanically inclined and process knowledge of hand and power tools Demonstrate an understanding of and adhere to all work safety policies and procedures Follow procedures and protocols for decontamination and cleaning of Turbo pumps Adhere to requirements for wearing proper PPE while performing service repairs Repair, Test and Troubleshoot Shimadzu Vacuum equipment according to repair and test procedures and specifications Support Quality team with corrective action and failure analysis reports if requested Support in maintaining accurate inventory of service parts Perform periodic preventive maintenance on shop equipment according to maintenance schedules

This is a full time opportunity.

The ideal candidate will have:

Highly detail-oriented with exceptional organizational, time management, and problem-solving abilities Must be a high school graduate or equivalent Computer literate with the ability to utilize all computer functions and tools Basic knowledge of Operations, Distribution and Logistics Must be a self-motivated individual Proper analytical and strong problem-solving skills Must be motivated and Team Builder Must be able to multi-task while aware of critical deadlines Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Pay Rate: DOE- $20.00-28.00 per hour

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
