Job Description

Join a dynamic team as a Service Technician with a company renowned for providing storage units and mobile office spaces to construction companies in the Bay Area. The ideal candidate will possess experience in refurbishing homes, building homes, and skilled trades such as carpentry, plumbing, and electrical work. Your main role will be to utilize these skills to ensure mobile units and offices are repaired, cleaned, and ready for shipment.

ResponsibilitiesMeet with the team to receive daily tasks and assignments.Engage in hands-on work on mobile units and yard projects, enhancing practical experience.Clean, sweep, and hose out units to remove dirt prior to return.Replace tiles and epoxy flooring, ensuring floors are clean and prepared.Repair drywall holes and apply paint after patching.Replace lightbulbs, locks, blinds, and door handles.Document completed work and identify areas requiring additional attention.Essential SkillsExperience in construction trades, carpentry, framing, drywall, and remodeling.Proficiency in using power tools like drills and saws.Ability to perform repairs and readiness work, including framing, finish carpentry, light electrical, plumbing, and painting.Blueprint reading and refurbishing skills.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in home remodels, refurbishing, and new construction.At least one year of construction or laborer experience.Knowledge of safety protocols and ability to work in a team environment.Eagerness to learn and engage in on-the-job training.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

Service Technicians will work primarily in the yard on mobile units. The role is labor-intensive, requiring both teamwork and independent task completion. Technicians remain onsite rather than visiting client locations, and extended breaks and ample water are provided during hot weather.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Martin, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
