Job DescriptionRoles & Responsibilities :
Supervise and lead a team of invoice processors, accounts payable specialists, and other relevant personnel
Set clear goals and performance targets for team members
Provide guidance, coaching, and support to team members to help them achieve their objectives
Oversee the end-to-end invoice processing workflow, ensuring that invoices are received, reviewed, approved, and processed in a timely and accurate manner
Monitor invoice queues and workload distribution among team members
Resolve complex invoice issues and discrepancies
Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to address invoice-related inquiries, discrepancies, and payment concerns
Maintain positive relationships with key vendors and ensure payment terms are adhered
Enforce compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and relevant regulatory requirements
Stay updated on changes in financial regulations that may impact the invoice-to-pay process
Generate regular reports on the team's performance, including key performance indicators (KPIs) such as invoice processing times, accuracy, and payment timeliness
Implement process improvements and automation where possible to increase efficiency and reduce errors
Provide training and development opportunities for team members to enhance their skills and knowledge in invoice management
Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback for professional growth
QualificationsEducational qualification:
Bachelor's or master's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Accounts Payable Professional, Certified Public Accountant) may be advantageous
Knowledge of German Language preferable
Experience :
Several years of progressive experience in accounts payable, finance, or a related financial role at leadership role
5-7 years of leadership experience
