Overview:
Opportunity for highly motivated individual to assist our branch offices in understanding the concepts behind how they are compensated through incoming calls and written requests from branch associates. These contacts cover a wide variety of topics including explaining and troubleshooting Commissions, Profitability, Bonus, Payroll, and Expenses.
What You Will Do: Responsible as a phone service representative, spending a great deal of time answering phone callsAnswer incoming requests related to branch expenses to include Financial Advisor compensationWorking independently with branch associates to solve problemsWork in partnership with team members to provide support as neededProvide branch associates with information, friendly support and reliable solutionsRespond to branch associates while meeting call- quality and efficiency expectations.Understand industry laws and regulationsParticipate in monthly department meetings and periodic training sessionsRequirements: Strong verbal and written communication skillsExcellent Problem-solving skillsPrior Customer Service experience (1-2 years)Technical aptitude preferredBachelor's degree in business or related field preferred (or equivalent experience)Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
**Candidates that live within in a commutable distance from our Tempe, AZ and St. Louis, MO home office locations are expected to work in the office three days per week, with preference for Tuesday through Thursday.**
Current INTERNAL home-based associates: While this role is posted as hybrid, if selected and accepted, you may retain your home-based status. Edward Jones intends in good faith to continue offering the role as home-based, though future business or regulatory needs may require on-site work.
