Create Demand and Customer relationship management
• Proactively engaging with customers and influencers, create and build relationships in early phases of the customer journey and discover customer needs using consultative/value selling methods.
• Can receive certain leads from Sales Specialists and marketing and is also expected to do proactive screening of the market and also screening our own customer base by using KONE analysis tools.
• Meet customers up to their management level with local sales teams and articulate the value KONE can bring to their projects and how KONE’s solutions help customer to differentiate and be successful.
• Maximize KONE’s hit-rate and profit margin by constantly seeking opportunities to accelerate sales of new solutions and services. With early influencing, increase the number of projects with KONE spec in RFQs.
• Create and implement an actionable sales ramp-up plan for the solutions in focus as well as for timely and accurate reporting
• Seek to understand customer needs holistically, consult customers and co-create best fit People Flow solutions.
Collaboration with Sales Team and Customer Solutions Engineering (CSE) Team
• Collaboration with CSE in medium and large complexity projects or when digital solutions (e.g. API, Residential Flow) are included.
• Gather and document (e.g. to CRM) relevant information about market and competitors from the field.
• Ensure clear project handover to salespeople according to Global/FL policy to close the deals.
• Support Sales Team in tendering and negotiations as needed.
• Keep the local salespeople and project managers up to date of the early engagement sales activities and progress.
