JOB SUMMARY:

The Service Sales Associate, Programs (SSA) is an inside-sales, lead generation and prospecting role within the Aftermarket Sales organization. The SSA plays a key role in retaining and generating new business and building relationships with our customers and/or potential customers. The SSA will be responsible for tactical day-to-day responsibilities and significant project assignments as assigned by the Sr. Sales Manager, Programs and Sales Manager, Programs.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

The SSA will provide sales support to the ProAdvantage Programs sales team, Sr. Sales Manager, or Service Sales Manager (SSM). This support includes (but is not limited to) the following:Salesforce.com opportunity administrationProAdvantage renewal contract creation, negotiation, and follow-up Identifying upsell and cross selling opportunitiesCreating analysis to support upselling and new enrollment proposalsCoordination with New Aircraft Sales and Field Service Engineering teamsCommunicates extensively with existing and prospective customers regarding Textron Aviation products and services. Represents the ProAdvantage programs and region in conjunction with or in lieu of the Service Sales Manager, Programs.Identifies opportunities to develop and increase Textron Aviation business through market analysis and continuous dialogue with sales personnel and customers.Reports significant trends to sales management and recommends specific actions as appropriate.Identifies and generates sales leads through various means of contacting ProAdvantage customers and in partnership with regional aftermarket sales teams. Remains current with aviation industry and financial market news to maintain an awareness of issues likely to impact customers and potential customers.Continuously researches market within the identified territory to identify prospective customers.

EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor’s degree required.Sales and/or marketing experience preferredAviation experience is preferred
